Any Concert Can Become A Charity Concert!

By including a Rocking Causes campaign to a concert or tour, musicians have an opportunity to share their passion for cause that matters most to them.   Charities benefit from the added exposure the campaign generates and also provides their marketing and development teams with an additional tool to strengthen their messaging to attract younger supporters.Through this platform fans will be introduced to very basic idea of philanthropy, learn more about the work the charity performs and may even choose to volunteer and get more deeply involved in the cause on an on-going basis.

Our Approach

Rocking Causes is partnering with Fundly, a successful crowdfunding platform, to host global fundraising campaigns initiated by the artist for the charity of their choice.

Artists now have a new, easy and centralized way to enhance their cause marketing efforts, maximizing their impact with little to no additional effort.

A classically trained musician, converted jazz head, and artist manager, Gina has always been inspired by the creative spirit found in musicians, artists and entrepreneurs. With a successful track record launching new initiatives, she has helped CEO’s of tech-start-ups, inventors of new products and services, and talented musicians alike identify and connect with their audiences through strategic marketing and positioning.

As the former Co-Founder and CEO of Go Baby, an award-winning baby accessory company, Gina knows first hand what it takes to initiate and execute a new business in today’s marketplace.  Having learned best practices working in integral roles at institutions and companies ranging from the non-profit incubator Echoing Green, to the results driven quantitative hedge fund at Morgan Stanley, Gina has honed her skills as an effective communicator, net-worker and leader.


Andrei Gorbatenko

Board Member

Andrei is the Founder and Music Director of the San Francisco Academy Orchestra and enjoys a balanced schedule of conducting, teaching, recording, touring, and performing as a contrabassist in both orchestral and chamber music capacities.

The Academy Orchestra has launched an unprecedented graduate program in orchestral studies that offers an intense and affordable post-doc training program that rivals the best masters programs across the globe. The program, designed to be administered by an orchestra rather than a brick and mortar conservatory, offers emerging professionals mentorship and performance opportunities with members of the San Francisco Symphony. 

Andrei's other recent activities include a North American tour with Mohammad Reza Shajarian, "Iran's greatest living master of traditional Persian music," administrative tours of the Midwest and East Coast on behalf of the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, and recordings at the Fantasy Studios and George Lucas Skywalker Ranch where he has recorded as both bassist and conductor.


Lomesh Shah


Lomesh has over 25 years of experience in international corporate leadership with a strong emphasis on marketing technology and data management systems. Lomesh has worked with small to mid-size businesses, privately-held companies and Fortune 500 corporations in various capacities; from sales and marketing to overseeing automation and re-engineering of processes and operations.

Lomesh has been a strong advocate of using the power of technology to transform the way nonprofits manage their day-to-day operations. In 2010, Lomesh was approached by several local nonprofit leaders to design an affordable data management system that would allow organizations to manage operations more efficiently and to understand and communicate with donors and other constituents. When researching the market, it was clear that these important community-based organizations were being priced out of any comprehensive data management solution – hence NonProfitEasy was born.

As CEO of NonProfitEasy, Lomesh spends much of his time immersed in the nonprofit industry both as an industry leader, speaker, and in service to several organizations as a board member and volunteer.








Jaz Sawyer

Board Member

Jaz Sawyer began playing drums at age of 2 in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco, California. His musical studies have taken him through the music programs at the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Stanford Jazz Workshop and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.

Jaz possesses an eclectic and refined personal style of drumming that stems from his deep roots in his Classical, Jazz, West-African and Afro-Caribbean musical training. Jaz has worked with many notable artists, including Wynton Marsalis, Abbey Lincoln, George Benson, Bobby Hutcherson, Jacky Terrasson and Dee Dee Bridgewater in some of the world’s premier concert venues, including The Blue Note, The Village Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Davis Symphony Hall and the Sydney Opera House.

Recently in 2015, Jaz founded the Sawyer Consulting Firm, and is actively involved in the communities in the SF Bay Area, New Orleans, New York and Los Angeles, where he currently resides.


Arnold Skretta


Arnold has over a decade of experience in legal compliance and fiscal operations management, and has held prestigious roles at the National Democratic Committee in Washington DC, and most recently for the Connecticut chapter of the DNC.  As a licensed attorney, he has practiced law extensively across complex issues while monitoring fiscal compliance on both the state and federal levels.  Arnold is well versed in the realm of rapidly changing political regulations, having navigated having navigated frequent filings with both state and federal regulatory bodies, and keeping abreast of regulatory bills that influence the committee's ability to operate.

As Deputy Treasurer, Arnold successfully managed a multi-million dollar budget, negotiated and reviewed employee and vendor contracts, mitigated disputes and resolved issues with diplomacy and efficiency.
As the Deputy Chief Operating Office of the DNC in Washington DC, Arnold balanced the hybrid role that utilized his strongest skill-sets, legal and operations management. He served as the primary link to outside counsel and was a key member of President Obama’s re-election campaign in Chicago in 2012.  He oversaw field campaign operations in three states with more than 80 staff members working in 27 different offices, and helped manage the DNC’s human resourced department, and facilities management teams.

Arnold provides legal and fiscal consulting to numerous clients in both the private and public sectors, counseling them on a variety of legal issues and has most recently joined the board of Rocking Causes, a non-profit whose mission is to connect musicians with charities across the globe.
